This is a Samsung Sky Plus HD box, which has been upgraded to the highest standards using a new (brand name) 1000GB (1TB) hard drive of exceptional quality.

Out of all the manufacturers currently producing these, Samsung boxes are widely regarded as having the best functionality and reliability and are therefore the most sought after.

The 1TB (1000GB) drive gives you 840GB personal storage, which is approximately 5.25 times the normal storage of a standard 160GB model. This works out at over 400 hours recording capacity (in standard definition). There is also 160GB reserved for Sky anytime.

There is simply no longer any need to compromise on the family’s viewing needs because, with this box, Dad can record as many live football matches in glorious HD as he likes, Mum can go wild with the series link button, and the kids can record all of their stuff without you constantly worrying about what programmes they may have copied over!

All you need to do is unplug the cables from your existing/previous box, plug them into this one, and call sky on 08442 414 141 to pair your card. Sky do this free of charge and the pairing will come into effect within 24 hours (but usually within 10 minutes).

Sky are currently charging considerably more for an equivalent upgrade and they will tie you into an extended contract for the privilege. There is no extended contract with this offer and the box comes at a fraction of the price. So why compromise when you can really believe in better!

This box can also be used in free to air mode without a card to view the FREE HD and normal channels. It is also ideal for anyone considering a cost efficient way of upgrading to Sky multi-room as this box can become your main (living room) receiver and your old box can be located in the other room (such as your bedroom etc).

Note that if you DO NOT currently have either Sky + or Sky HD then you would also need to have the LNB on your dish upgraded and a second signal feed cable installed to the box.

Terms & Conditions and other important information

1. For "peace of mind" I offer a 30 day warranty on the item and I will allow a “no quibble” return (for any reason) within this period. In such cases, either a full refund will be given or a like for like replacement will be offered.

2. Return shipping in both cases (above) will be at MY expense (so long as it does not exceed the collect + fee of £3.49) and so long as the item is received in the same condition as it was originally sent.

3. The box is cosmetically almost perfect, no significant markings other than normal usage (couple of minor marks or

surface scuffs) and no flaps or other things missing

4. Your box will be packed and wrapped securely and dispatched within a day of confirmation of payment.

5. Remote control, power lead, HDMI lead, Scart lead etc not supplied with the box but are available for an additional £10 on request.

6. You must have the neccissary sky subscriptions to make full use of this box. For example, if you intend to use it as an additional box then you need to be subscribed to Sky Multiroom. For the majority of HD channels you need to be subscribed to Sky’s HD service both to view and record.

With the exception of the “freeview” channels, and like any other Sky box, you will only be able to record and view channels that are within the package you are subscribed to. Please ask me if you are unsure.

7. Collect + is a new courier service that allows you to collect your order from a number of participating grocery stores (there is usually one within a mile of your home address). At £3.49 per package, this drastically reduces my shipping charges and allows the buyer the convenience of being able to collect the item at a time that suits them. No more waiting in all day for that important parcel to arrive!

It should be noted, however, that Collect + will generally take about 5 working days to deliver (I drop within 1 day of receiving payment). Collect + will also deliver direct to your door for £4.99 and you can select this option at checkout (choose "Other Courier").
